1. Accepting these terms

These terms apply to everyone who uses toonawezatales.com, run by Toonaweza Tales ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you, and they are responsible for your use of accounts and purchases.

2. Using the site

Watching cartoons and reading stories is free and needs no account. You agree not to misuse the site. This includes trying to break or overload it, scraping content, uploading harmful files, or using it for anything unlawful.

3. Accounts

You need an account to comment, like, take quizzes, submit stories or shop. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing kids@toonawezatales.com.

4. Comments and submissions

Be kind. Comments must be suitable for children: no insults, bullying, hate, adult content, spam or personal contact details. We may remove any comment and suspend accounts that break this rule.
When you submit a story, drawing, photo or audio, you confirm that you (or your child) created it, and that a parent or guardian agrees to the submission.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish, edit for length and clarity, and share it on Toonaweza Tales and our official social media. You can ask us to take it down at any time.
School channel content is published with the school and the learner's parent or guardian.

5. Our content

Cartoons, stories, characters, logos and designs on the site belong to Toonaweza Tales or our partners. You may watch and share links to them. You may not copy, re-upload, sell or edit them without our written permission. Digital products you buy are for personal and classroom use only, and may not be resold or shared publicly.

6. Shop orders and prices

Prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The delivery fee is shown at checkout before you pay.
An order is accepted once payment is confirmed. If an item is out of stock or a price was clearly wrong, we will contact you and either fix the order or refund you in full.

7. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Paystack, by M-Pesa or debit/credit card. We do not see or store your card details or M-Pesa PIN. Your payment provider's own terms also apply.

8. Delivery

We deliver physical products within Kenya only. The fee depends on the delivery location you choose.
We normally dispatch within 1 to 3 working days. Delivery times are estimates and may be longer in remote areas or during holidays.
Please give a correct phone number and address. If a delivery fails because the details were wrong or nobody could be reached, a redelivery fee may apply.
Digital products are available under My orders as soon as payment is confirmed.

9. Returns and refunds

Physical items: if an item arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or refund you, including delivery. Unused items in original condition can also be returned within 7 days for a refund of the item price. In that case you pay the return delivery cost.
Digital downloads: because they are delivered instantly, they cannot be refunded once downloaded, unless the file is faulty and we cannot provide a working copy.
Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method, normally within 7 working days.
These terms do not reduce any rights you have under Kenyan consumer protection law.

10. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site available, accurate and safe, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change, and important changes will be highlighted on the site. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. We will try to resolve any problem with you directly first. If that fails, disputes will be handled by the courts of Kenya.
